Privacy Policy

Who we are

This website is run by Solution Cleaning Services Limited, trading as STS Solution Cleaning Services, a cleaning company based in Oxford, United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email contact@stsclean.co.uk or call 01865 294658.

What we collect

When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, your address, details about your property and the cleaning you need (including how much work it needs), when you’d like it done, any message you include and any photos you choose to send.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to you, prepare a quote, arrange and carry out your clean, send invoices and keep the records a business is required to keep. We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running the business, and complying with legal obligations such as tax record-keeping.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you have asked us to, and we never sell your data.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with services we use to run the business:

Cloudflare, which hosts this website and our customer system. PreQuotes and photos you send through the website are stored there, and only our team can see them.
Web3Forms, which emails our inbox a copy of each PreQuote you send from this site (without the photos), as described in Web3Forms’ privacy policy.
Our email provider, if you email us.
Our accountant and HMRC, where needed for invoices and tax.

How long we keep it

If you ask for a quote but don’t book, we delete your details within 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep your records for as long as the law requires for tax purposes (normally six years) and then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or object to how we use it. Just email contact@stsclean.co.uk. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
